This is a partial list of materials we cannot accept:

  • Hazardous waste including asbestos
  • Refrigerants, including CFCs and HCFCs
  • PCB containing materials such as capacitors or light ballasts
  • Liquids of any type
  • Radioactive materials
  • Flammable materials
  • Mercury or mercury switches from appliances
  • Tires
  • Paint cans
  • Ni-Cad batteries
  • Street signs
  • Beer kegs
  • Cemetery vases

Non-metallic materials such as:

glass, wood, concrete, dirt, plastic, garbage
Equipment such as copiers, televisions,
microwave ovens, fax machines
